FRANCOIS_RABELAIS_AND_LEONARDO_DA_VINCI,_A_UTOPIAN_MOMENT_OF_DIALOGUE_IN_TEMPORAL_ETERNITY
If ever François Rabelais and Leonardo Da Vinci had the opportunity to meet in person, it would have been under the leadership of King Francis I during the last three years of Leonardo’s life, from 1516 to 1519 when Leonardo was living at the Loire Valley Château du Clos Lucé, courtesy of the King of France.
The following Utopian dialogue, which I have translated several parts of below, was composed in 2019 for the 500th anniversary of Leonardo’s death by 22 students from the Lycée François RABELAIS of Chinon, France.
